You don't need a revolution to escape DC. You need secession.

No people and no part of a people shall be held against its will in a political association that it does not want.

About the Florida Secession Movement

We are simply Floridians tired of living under the rule of DC. Florida is a unique state with unique needs and the one-size-fits-all approach of being governed top-down from Washington DC is clearly not working.

We are your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, neighbors and friends.

We are a peaceful movement. Violence is not the answer and confronting DC is a losing proposition. We do not want to take over and reform DC. We simply want to be free to govern ourselves under the principle of self-determination.

We are not petitioning the government for permission to secede. We are simply withdrawing consent. Signing the pledge is a symbolic gesture to send a message to show DC the growing number of people who have no further use for the federal government.

We are not a PAC or affiliated with any political party. At this time we are not asking for donations. If you wish to donate spread the ideas, share our website, join the newsletter and follow us on social.

Is Secession Legal?

Of course it is. Watch the answer.

Peaceful state secession from imperial Washington – is really the only way for Americans to escape the clutches of our increasingly socialistic central planning state.
